The Universal Refiner R-MAG is a portable wood waste grinder that can be used in many areas of recycling. They can easily and safely grind lawn clippings, leaves, land clearing, construction/demolition waste logging slash, stumps, log yard waste, railroad ties, storm waste, tropical (palm and palmetto) waste etc.
We believe that one of the most important factors in our design is simplicity. If you examine any of the R-MAG models you will see that the design and construction is such that they are nearly indestructible. By comparison most of the tub grinders and horizontal feed machines on the market become worn or damaged beyond repair within a few years...
Many of our earlier Contender models have over 25,000 hours on them and run like new. Our goal with the R-MAG models is to see 30,000 to 40,000 hours. You can help us with this!
Models
R-MAG 82
(PDR-82-600HP)
This model is based on the foot print of the PDR-70 contender, but is built heavier, has a larger hopper and infeed and other improvements. It has abilities similar to the earlier PDR-80 Contender models, but at a lower cost. Machine is street legal!
R-MAG 92
(PDR92-672HP)
This model is based on the foot print of the PDR-80 Contender, but is larger, built heavier and stronger, has more pan power (two additional drive motors) a larger hopper and infeed and other improvements. It has abilities similar to the earlier PDR-96 Contender models, but it is also street legal and lower in cost.
R-MAG 109
(PDR-109-800HP)
This model is based on the foot print of the PDR-96 Contender, but is larger, stronger, has a larger hopper and infeed and is more productive than anything we have ever built. It is 10' wide and requires permits.
